The Kombucha 2.0 Bloom Ferments workshop breaks conventional wisdom of Kombucha Brewing. Covering a deeper history of the brewing process, flavoring techniques and sweeteners as well as scaling up batch size, Emily will also be showing a variety of vessels to use.
Emily Helmus began running her business Bloom Ferments in the year 2012. Brewing at the Downtown Market south of Heartside Park in Grand Rapids, Bloom grows in popularity being 100% woman owned and majority women operated using the highest quality ingredients, both fairtrade and organic. We have enjoyed Emily’s presence each consecutive year at the festival and are delighted to have her back for Lamp Light 2016.
